You're sure to find great bargains in the lovely brick-and-mortar stores! Check out Marimekko, Vaateputiikki Jasmiina, Torioptiikka or Mäkipää . For second-hand lovers, Boho Second Hand offers a high-quality selection.

EAT
Hämeenlinna has places to eat to suit all tastes.
Located in a historic setting, next to the main church, Restaurant Piparkakkutalo offers delicious menus and a la carte dishes. Piparkakkutalo offers Hotel Emilia's customers -10% off a la carte dishes!
Other restaurants in the city centre include Fiftari, Restaurant Uoma, Park BRGR, Restaurant Popino and Restaurant Brahe. A short drive away, in a unique mill setting, Miller's BBQ serves up delicacies for the hungry.

At Tiirinkoski you can meet cute animals, shop for designer clothes and home furnishings and enjoy wonderful flavours at the café.

BENEFIT FROM EXERCISE
The nearest gyms can be found right in the city centre, close to the hotel. Fitness24seven is located on the pedestrian street, approx. 100m from the hotel and OleFit Tawastia is a couple of minutes walk away.
Hämeenlinna swimming pool with its services and Hämeensaari outdoor sports centre are located on the shore of Lake Vanajavesi, approx. 400m from Hotel Emilia.

ANIMALS & NATURE
At Metsänkylän barn you can meet the lovely alpacas!
At Idänpää Honkalanranta you can watch the scenery from the bird tower or enjoy the company of sheep.
Hämeenlinna's most beautiful scenery can be found at Aulango, where there is plenty to do for even the most active holidaymaker.
At Ahvenisto there is something to do, including Flow Park, a land pool and a motor track. Check out the wonderful jogging trails in Ahvenisto!

CULTURE

Hämeenlinna Art Museum, Theatre and BioRex Cinema are located in the Verkatehta area.
Iittala'sLasimäki and Naivistit in Iittala are well-established tourist attractions in the surrounding area.
