The privately owned Hotel Emilia is located in the heart of the town of Hämeenlinna. We have 42 comfortable rooms, all equipped with individually controlled air conditioning, bathroom, TV, and wireless internet access. Additionally, we have some pet rooms and a room specially designed for physically disabled people.
All our rooms have been decorated with Marimekko fabrics to create comfortable Scandinavian atmosphere; each room having its own unique character.
Our superior rooms are located on the fifth floor. They are equipped with a kettle so you can make your own coffee/tea/hot chocolate, bathrobe and slippers, and a glass of sparkling wine. Most of the superior rooms have a balcony overlooking the pedestrian street.
Reception
Our reception is open Monday to Saturday from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. and on Sundays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Restaurants
Hotel Emilia's guests can enjoy delicious meals and drinks at the Restaurant Piparkakkutalo (Gingerbread House), which is located just opposite the beautiful city church. Hotel guests will receive a discount card entitling them to a 10% discount at the restaurant.
Hotel breakfast is served at Hotel Emilia on weekdays from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. and on weekends and public holidays from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Breakfast is always included in the room rate.
Club Emilia
Club Emilia is a nightclub for adults (age limit of 26 years). It is open on Fridays and Saturdays from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m.
Cafe Bar Emilie and summer terrace
The hotel´s lobby bar offers a wide selection of drinks and small snacks. The summer terrace operates during summer time.

Meetings / Cabinets
In our cabinets you can organize a variety of conferences and banqueting events. The order of the tables is customizable according to your needs. The Meeting room can accommodate up to 20 people and the Sauna Cabinet up to 8 people. Wireless internet access and a video projector are available in both meeting rooms.
In the Sauna Cabinet there is a flat TV as a standard equipment.

Sauna
We have a sauna for our customers on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. for women and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. for men. You can also book the sauna with a cabinet for your private use at an additional cost. You can ask for more information at the reception. There is a wide selection of drinks available.

You can also book a parking space in the parking garage. Please note that parking spaces must be booked at reception before arrival and cost €15/day.

Cancellation policy
Rooms, booked directly form the hotel, are possible to cancel without any charge 24h before planned arrival. If rooms are cancelled after that or are no-show, we´ll charge 100%.
Please note that this cancellation policy is not valid on the bookings made via booking channels. Booking channels have cancellation policies of their own.
